Stair Climbing Chairs

Stair climbing chairs are portable, battery-powered alternatives to an installed stairlift. A caregiver guides the chair while motorized tracks carry the rider up and down the stairs in a seated position — no installation, no rails, and no permanent changes to the home. Sometimes called a portable stairlift or stair climber, they fold for the car trunk and travel wherever stairs are a barrier.

Every model here is from Mobile Stairlift by Climbing Steps, Inc. Choose by staircase type (straight or curved), rider weight capacity, and how much the caregiver needs to lift. The Atlas carries a rider while they remain seated in their own wheelchair.
