Overview

The Helix is the only chair in the Mobile Stairlift line built for curved, rounded, and spiral staircases as well as straight ones. Independent drive tracks keep the chair stable through turns while a caregiver guides it. It supports riders up to 400 lbs, folds for the car trunk, and delivers up to 120 flights per charge.

Warranty

Lifetime warranty on the frame and welds; 1 year on motors, wheels, and mechanical assemblies (gears, brakes, moving parts); 6 months on the battery; plus a 180-day limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Excludes accidents, misuse, unauthorized modifications, and cosmetic wear.

Important operating note

Mobile Stairlift chairs are caregiver-operated: a second person guides the chair up and down the stairs. Flights-per-charge figures vary with rider weight, stair surface, temperature, and battery condition.
